It was my first visit and I'm pleased that I selected such a cool place. Built in 1912, one can feel the rich history but at the same time admire the modern upgrades. I sat at the bar and was warmly greeted by Eve, who has a very welcoming personality. I ordered the salmon with wild rice and a small side salad. The salmon was perfectly seasoned, and that kind of rice is my fave. I'd like to give a shout out to Eve, who got increasingly busy but perfectly balanced her service skills among all her customers! I'll definitely return and bring my airline crew next time!

It is a decent place to stop and enjoy a meal. Clean, a stocked bar and a nice variety of choices. We have been twice. Once for dinner and a other for lunch. The food is good, but I would not give it 5 stars. To accurately describe my feelings about this restaurant, is that I will eat there, but I have no specific desire to go there for anything. For lunch we tried the French Dip and the Cuban. Both sandwiches were good, though the fries are too large, the taste is overpowering of potato, and doesn't fit with the sandwich. My wife had the house made chips and they were very bland, and tasted like oil, and burnt; neither were a complimentary match for their mail dish. I'm certain we will be back again to try more food.

Was visiting down town new Bern and wanted to try something new and definitely met up to my expectations!! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable dinner with excellent food! The interior was astoundingly clean and a nice atmosphere with a nice aesthetic.

Absolutely wonderful lunch! If you go away hungry it's your own fault! Service was amazing. Sat outside on their back patio with their Bloody Mary's (highly recommended) with our lunch

Plain perfect. Food, service, atmosphere, price. It's all here. Plus a wait...on Saturday night or Tuesday evening. There's a wait. Cause this is the place! Recommend: Carrot Cake, Chocolate Cobbler, Brown Ale, Meatloaf and Mash, Fries, it's all good 👍
Oh, and the honey croissant 🥐
