I am SO grateful to have found Dr. Montero. I gained my ability to walk, sit and drive without pain. I had gone to several doctors, had X-rays, CT scan and lastly had an Ultrasound. Nothing showed anything was wrong, but I was in such pain. I wanted to just lay down and never get up. My boss suggested a chiropractor and what to look for in a good one. That good one I found was Dr. Montero. I now have my life back with NO more pain. He truly cares about your wellbeing, you’re not just a number moving through an assembly line. I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Montero and his exceptional team (Amanda, Liz, & Annie) at Carteret Chiropractic and Family Wellness, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I made the initial call, I felt confident that I was in excellent hands.

SAVED MY VACATION!!! My back locked up on a golf outing a day before my family and I were headed out to Emerald Isle for our annual vacation. It got better but then worse and I was not really able to move well which is not great for a beach vacation. My regular Chiropractic Care provider in Cary referred me to Carteret Chiropractic & Family Wellness which was just 12 minutes from where we were staying.
Carteret Chiropractic was able to fit me into their schedule with my flexibility, of course, did a thorough intake, and was able to give me care at the first appointment.
Dr. Montero was able to get me moving better within an hour and I saw improvement over the next couple of days with a follow up visit. Dr. Montero knows his stuff, is very personable and it is obvious he loves what he does.
Will most likely start my vacation week with them next year too.

We had a great experience with Dr Montero and his staff. They were personable, knowledgeable, and patient. My wife had an acute cervical injury the week before our scheduled vacation at Emerald Isle and she was unable to see a chiropractor in our area before we traveled. We were worked in quickly and she was able to basically fill out all the forms online during our drive before our arrival. We never felt rushed during our 2 clinic visits during our vacation. The staff took plenty of time to hear my wife, examine her, provide their evaluation, then a treatment plan. What was particularly appreciated was the specificity of the plan. It applied to her and took into account our situation as tourists in the area for less then 1 week. The 2 treatments my wife received have been a great start down the road to recovery that will be continued back in our home area by a local chiropractor. With Dr Montero’s help, my wife was able to continue to exercise during our vacation and sleep better.

Dr. Montero was a “Blessing” to find available 8 years ago.
My orthopedic surgeon at that time instructed me that my options were pain management, prescription drugs (which had terrible side effects) or another surgery without guarantee of the best results.
Dr. Montero’s experience, knowledge, patience, and compassion made it possible for me to continue to work my full time job 3 more years at which time I retired.
Since that time his maintenance treatments have continued to improved my quality of life. He and his wonderful staff have always been very supportive, and helpful with the necessary requirements of my insurance.
I highly recommend Dr. Montero for chiropractic care!
