Tried this place because it was close to where we parked. What a find. Interesting place with a Blackbeard theme. 2 restaurants side by side, Blackbeards and Pirate's Cove. Walked in Blackbeards and stepped into the next room to discover we were in Pirate's Cove. We went with our waitress's recommendations which were spot on. The Italian melt was big and served with quality meats. The smoke house burger was incredibly flavorful, dripping with cheese and caramelized onion. The battered fries were so good they didn't need salt, pepper or ketchup. We will be back.

Rated A96.5 for sanitation We stopped in for beverages and apps. Prosecco on drink menu is Lamarca. The atmosphere is nice: A lot of TVs to watch sports. 52 beers on tap. ATM and games on-site. Sister business is next door Pirates Triple Play. Service is great. Bathrooms are clean. For those with balance or back issues, the toilet is VERY low to the ground so use caution. Bartender is great!

This place has a live band most nights and the service was great. The beer flows good here but the food was confusing. The lunch they serve was delicious but the dinner was nothing to write home about. They do have security there which I believe is good but also makes you think. The photos are from lunch. Prices are standard.

The food and drinks were awesome. They have a variety of beers on tap and yummy cocktails.
The service was less than desirable. When we walked in, we weren't greeted by a hostess or anything, and there wasn't a sign saying, "Please seat yourself." I went to the bar to ask about seating and eye contact from all three bartenders was avoided, so it took 10 minutes to find out that we could sit anywhere and another 10 minutes before anyone noticed that we had sat down. I also think it might have been our server's first day. She didn't know anything about the food on the menu or the cocktails. At the same time, she didn't know liquor laws, so we could have all the drinks we wanted. At one point, my friend and I had 2 cocktails, 2 whiskey doubles, and one and half pints of beer in front of us, so we were set for the night. 😅
